Hi

We use Arena Software but we have an issue with the skeleton. In fact, for each skeleton we calibrate, the shoulders are systematically positioned toward the back of the skeleton.
The markers are posed as indicated on the tutorial and on the website.

The arena version we are using is the 1.6.1000.

you can find in the following links the image relating the skeleton issue :

Do you know the source of this issue?

Thank you in advance

Please send a data capture which exhibits this issue to support@naturalpoint.com so that we can review it more closely. Be sure that the take starts with the actor in a T-pose.

Also having a similiar problem with the shoulders. Our skeleton looks like the second picture posted. If anyone can help us with the situation as well.

thanks

I've had this problem when the middle marker on the offending shoulder is pointing more backward. They tell you to orient each arm differently...so that's what I do. One one arm that middle marker points more forward, the other more backward. Try to swing your arm forward (like you are hugging yourself) and backward a few times. This seems to readjust the markers appropriately...until the shoulder shifts again due to some movement.

Also, in these pics I don't see the marker that should be just below the shoulder. The marker that is just touching the elbow and the one that is just below the shoulder should be in the same place on both arms. The marker in the middle is the one that should be different for both arms. Good luck!
