Hi all,
I recently having trouble starting TIR5. I get a windows error message, several times. then it will start after maybe 3 or 4 attempts, and minimize correctly. Anyone else having this problem ?
Software also crashes after waking from a sleep, if its not been turned off.
OS is Windows 7

What video card, video card drivers are you using?
Have you tried using the 4.1.037, TrackIR software?

Hey Fish,
I'm all good now...
Re installed everything but put it on the same drive as the operating system (Windows 7) whereas before I put it on a seperate drive.
I also plugged the USB devices into the MB and not a hub.
Works perfect now with EZDOK.
Thank you Vincent

Cat 10.8 with Ati 5870
HMM, no. Changed over to version 5 several months ago, and gave me much better stability. Wont go back to version 4 now with TIR5
Issue for me is not 'life-threatening'. Generally works after 4 or 5 attempts. Just thought someone might have a fix. I'll post if i solve it.

Have you tried allowing trackir to startup when the computer starts ? I seem to have better luck that way,, or, close everything else before starting trackir. I have problems if I have FSX running, and then try to start trkr, it is very picky.
Also, have problems switching from full screen to windowed mode, but if I pause the game, and trkr before switching, it seems to work ok. Good Luck
