Hi,

I'm new to ARENA and I wanted to track the trajectory of a single point. So I put a single marker on the face and after capturing tried to trajectorize the 2D data in order to export it's trajectory to MATLAB. However, I couldn't trajectorize the data as the option is disabled. Is it because I didn't make a facial template?

Is it possible to track a single point like that using "ARENA Expression Facial Motion Capture"?

At least one rigid body or skeleton needs to be loaded before ARENA will trajectorize untracked 3D markers.

Note : Individual/unlabeled marker tracking is much less robust than skeleton and rigid body tracking since there is no method to maintain the same marker name if a marker is occluded and re-appears later. This may result in numerous non-linked short marker tracks which could require editing to splice together.
