Hey guys,

i got a problem with my TrackIR. Whenever i run the software, doesn't matter on what computer, it recognizes my TrackIR device, but the LED's won't go on anymore. The blue LED light turns on whenever i run a game, and the green one just appears sometimes, but the red LED's wich have to track, do not work anymore.

Could somebody help me please?

Are you using the TrackClip, or the TrackClip Pro with the camera?

Do you have TrackClip pro, or TrackClip selected in the software?

I am using the TrackClip, the one that came with my TrackIR, you mount it on a cap. On my TrackIR 4 software it says Vector Expansion.

Within the IR software -> Profiles tab -> under available profiles, highlight the default profile and select edit -> do you have vector, or TrackClip Pro selected here?

In the IR software -> View -> Tracking -> Settings, do you have the "Camera LEDS on" enabled here?

Yes, Vector is selected + The LED's are set to "ON" but they still don't want to work. The Camera is recognized, it also recognizes the game but the LED's won't turn on + sometimes the green light turns on for a second as it recognizes something that was tracked by the camera, but the LED's are still off.

So you have tried this on several other systems, correct?

If so, and the options are enabled, then you are looking at a hardware failure of some kind.

How long have you had the device?

Correct. I've tried it again on another PC with Windows XP and fresh installed drivers + TrackIR software - nothing.

I bought TrackIR from a german shop on the 17th February 2009.

Unfortunately that would put it outside or 1 year warranty
