TrackIR5 and ATI Catalyst new drivers seem to have some sort of compatibility issue - here's a quick fix how you can run the latest TrackIR software with latest ATI drivers.

1. Download Catalyst 10.4 or earlier
2. Start install so it will extract files to C:\ATI\Support
3. Cancel installation
3. Copy the file C:\ATI\Support\10-3_xp32_dd_ccc_wdm_enu\Packages\Drivers\Display\XP_INF\B_96537\atioglxx.dl_ file to your TrackIR5 installation folder (default is C:\Program Files\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5)
4. rename the copied file to atioglxx.dll
5. start TrackIR and it should work :)

Thanks for the suggestion, but for me it did not work. I run Win7 64bit, so I found the file under W76A_INF\B-96537, but when I copied it over the TrackIR application would not run anymore, giving an error when started. Lucky enough I tried this before I upgraded my ATI driver, so I could delete the file and everything runs again.
I wonder when Naturalpoint will give us a proper fix for this.
