Hi folks

I'm using a front projection system, and would like to mount TrackIR 5 90 degrees to my left, at my 9 o'clock position. I've heard it's possible to do this with TrackIR, but I can't for the life of me see any settings in the newest version of the software to enable this. Any ideas where I can find these settings?

Unfortunately, that feature didn't make it in the new 5.0 software. For the time being, you'll need the most recent 4.x version. We are adding this back into 5.1, which we're in the middle of developing right now. I don't have a timeline for release, but if you can hold off for a little while, we'll have a fix for you.

Hey Seth, So I can do it simply by rolling back the software, which will work fine with my TrackIR 5?

Correct

4.1.037 software

The setting is under View -> Tracking -> Settings -> camera rotation

Is this already incorporated to the 5.1 beta?
Is this the preferred method when we're playing again a projected 120" screen?
From my point of view sideways mount makes perfect sense, understanding the clip should be worn rotated also 90 ...
I'm just wondering if the clip feels comfortable at 90, and also wondering if I'm missing something since I've seen some messages of people with similar setups (big screens) looking for ways to increase range, and haven't seen noone suggesting the sideways mount option.

Thanks for your time,

Xavi (wondering if TrackIr5 is a must addition to my setup)

Yes, the rotation settings are in the latest beta software. Under advanced settings -> camera tab, just click on the camera rotation

The clip itself does not rotate as well, just the camera
