TrackIR 5 not recognized by FSX after EZCA uninstall

Hi,

I finally uninstalled the EZdoc (EZCA) software after being frustrated with some issues. I followed the uninstall directions (reset cameras with configuration tool, then used uninstaller). I then went back into TrackIR and rechecked "True View".

The problem is that although the TrackIR seems to be functioning fine when I start it (head movements show up), FSX does not seem to recognize it anymore. The second camera light does not come on and no head movements occur in Flight simulator. Does anybody know how to get FSX to recognize TrackIR again? Thanks.

Bill

With FSX, do you have SP1/SP2 installed?

Yes I do. I reinstalled the TrackIR software and now things seem to work fine.

Bill,

Did you remember to go to the "C:\Programfiles (x86)\Naturalpoint\TrackIR5" folder or whatever folder you installed TRACKIR to and change the the two files EZdok told you to rename

"simconnect.manifest1"
"simconnectSP2.manifest1"

back to the correct TrackIR names

"simconnect.manifest"
"simconnectSP2.manifest"

until you do this TrackIR will stil be set for EZdok and will never find FSX.
