SmartNav not working on windows 7 64bit

I cannot install the most recent driver on my windows 7 64bit PC (the install works fine on my 32bit windows 7 PC).

I went to the trouble shooting guide and found the 'Disable and Turnoff UAC in Windows 7 from Control Panel' fix. I did that but still I cannot install the driver.

When trying to install the program just hangs just after the beginning and does nothing. The little windows just says : SmartNav 3 is preparing the InstallShield.
After a minute or two the following error message comes up :
'Error extracting support files. Server execution failed'.

What can I do?
What's the problem here?

If anyone is experiencing this issue, please email support@naturalpoint.com. We can email you a zipped version of the installation with instructions for getting it to work. This particular issue is a high priority one for us, and we are trying diligently to find out why the install package won't decompress on some people's computers.
