How do I get TrackIR5 to autostart with Windows?

Hi. I had TrackIR4 and then TrackIR5 installed for some years on my old PC, but now I have installed it and my Flight Simulator profile onto a new computer I can't recall (or find) how to do this. Could someone kindly remind me?

I have Windows 7 64-bit and would like TrackIR to load at Windows startup, so that my FS profile loads by default (not have to load it manually every time) and I get the TrackIR icon in the System Tray. The best I can do now is add the icon to my startup folder so that the programme is on my Taskbar after a reboot, which I don't want.

This is possible isn't it? I've searched the interface and user manual with no luck.

Thanks,

Martin

There is a run at startup preference you can select to accomplish what you are looking for.

On Windows 7 you may need to grant yourself privileges on the HKLM run-at-startup registry key for the software preference to work. We have a fix for that specific issue in the next TrackIR 4.x and 5.x software releases.

Thanks, but I had searched everywhere before asking here, including the html help file and I can still find no reference to how to set TrackIR5 to run at Windows startup. How do I set the preference? If I afterwards have to edit the registry key, that's fine. Or did you mean I have to edit the registry in order to see the preference option in TrackIR (where would the preferences option then be?)

Thank you.
