Health issues?

One more question, don't know where else to put it.
I have just taken a picture of my active TIR with my webcam. I have not realized that the LEDs in the unit are so bright!
This got me a little bit concerned... Has this issue been considered? Were there any tests conducted as related to the safety level of the unit?
This is particularly important when you have TIR software loaded with the startup, because the LEDs are on by default, which means that you are staring at bright LEDs for hours, even if you are not gaming...
