Calibration Engine values

Hello!

I wonder what kind of values are those which appear on the camera calibration, after the wanding process when the wizard give the overall result (Samp, Focal, StdD, MeanEr)

For instance, I see Focal value always keeps about 740 - 750, StdD about 0.05 and MeanEr 0.09, and the overall result is Exceptional.

Thank you!

The most important metric shown is the textual quality rating of 'Exceptional'. The algorithm is interpreting the numeric values for you and providing it's overall assessment of the results.

The remaining items are as follows:

Samp: Number of wand samples being used to calculate the camera calibration.
Focal: This is the camera's focal length (in pixels).
MeanEr: Is the average error (in pixels) when the 3D triangulations are back-projected back through the camera lens and incidented against the imager and then compared to the original 2D data.
StdD: This is the standard deviations of the MeanEr results for all triangulations in the sample set.
