TrackIR Duplicate Hotkey Sets Cannot Be Removed

I have been having this problem for several months now on both the Final B and Beta software sets.

I have my hotkeys set to joystick button (center) and then precision and pause are aux. mouse buttons. I believe this problem started months ago when I thought I might want to try mapping the precision and pause buttons to my joystick; since then, even though I have since changed my precision and pause buttons to the mouse (or other buttons in my process of testing) and those buttons do indeed engage pause or precision, the original joystick buttons I mapped precision and pause to, still engage those functions. This is a problem because it prevents me from using 2 of my joystick buttons for other game functions without engaging precision or pause modes.

Things I have tried: -Reinstall TrackIR software
-Tried new beta version...same problem
-Made sure all residual profiles and files were deleted from NaturalPoint folder
-Uninstalled profiler software for Saitek Cyborg X stick in question
-Tried every combination of hotkeys imaginable...they all work but no combination will cause the 2 phantom keys on the joystick to stop pausing or precision-ing.

Please help this is an extremely frustrating problem...especially when I can find no one with a similar problem on the NaturalPoint forums.

***EDIT FOR UPDATE: Just found out at uninstalling mouse software does not help...did just find something interesting though...the 2 phantom buttons that engage pause and precision only do so when I try to map the center button to the Cyborg X joystick...if I map the center button to any other key, button, or mouse click, the hotkeys will operate normally.

So the problem is now why can't I map my center button to my joystick without the phantom buttons coming out?

Hi Mike,

This does indeed sound like a very unusual problem. Can you email the profile(s) in question to me, so I can take a look at the .xml settings?

You can find the profiles in C:\Program Files (x86)\NaturalPoint\TrackIR5\Profiles

You can email to seth[at]naturalpoint.com

MORE NEWS...after more testing I have found that the phantom pause and precision buttons present themselves only when my center button is set to the joystick AND the pause and precision buttons are mapped to the mouse aux. buttons...so as of right now to get this problem to occur the center has to be a joystick button and the pause+precision have to be on the mouse AUXILIARY buttons

For example, I just mapped my precision button to a left mouse click and when I did the phantom version of the precision button on the joystick went away...just mapped my pause to the right mouse click and also the phantom pause button on the joystick went away

So maybe now it seems more like a mouse/mouse software problem? Although, I recently did remove the included CD mouse software from my PC...

Hi Mike,

Thanks for the continued feedback. I've been looking through the files you sent me, and they didn't reveal as much as I had hoped. It appears that they are being written properly. We're still digging on what the cause might be.
