Hi, Just got Trackir5. Noticed when using it the view is straight out the cockpit window instead of the original view that captured some of the instruments. Now in order to see the instruments I always have to look down. If I use the space bar and mouse (like I use too) it just resets to right out window. Any way to 'correct' this?
Thanks
Rob

Re: keeping orignal cockpit view
This is determined by the FSX developers. You can change this "default center" location in the config file, but an easier way might be:
- look comfortably at the center of the screen
- now tilt your head up slightly
- hit F12 to recenter
This should put your viewpoint down slightly when you're looking at the monitor in a neutral position, which should incorporate more of the gauges in your periphery. You might need to play around with it a bit to get the hang of this technique.
