Post by farstar »

How would I go about capturing with Arena a character and the object it is holding? for instance a person dribbling a ball. How would I mocap the ball and the character at the same time?

Hi Far Star,

Have you watched the Rigid Body Wizard video? It outlines how to create a RB using a simple tutorial:

Seth,
This video link is great and exactly what I was looking for. I could not find this video on your site. How can i find this video you posted link to along with I am sure other videos I am not able to find? Like for instance the other video I cannot find that is to explain how to use the max real time streaming plug in.

You can find this and other videos under on the Training & Tutorial Videos page:

http://www.naturalpoint.com/optitrack/p ... #tutorials

There is a link to the Flash video gallery which hosts most of the normal workflow. But, there are a few additional videos below that link, including:

 Rigid Body Wizard
 Full Body Capture And BVH
 Editing Tools
 MotionBuilder
[color:#CC0000] 3D Studio Max
[/color]
(These secondary videos are also aggregated in an additional Flash gallery.)

I don't know why they aren't all housed in the same gallery. I'll check with our web developer on that.
