Resetting and fine-tuning of Track IR5

I purchased a copy of Track IR4 but found that I had difficulty in fine-tuning it (you may have different jargon) to take account of my requirements. I only use it in Flight Sim or Over Flanders Fields. Reaching for the F9, F10, F11 and F12 keys were clumsy and I eventually gave up because I couldn't get my Saitek X52 to have buttons to reconfigure them under an easily reachable button.
So, that meant diffs ove the reset keys, centralize and also programming the device meant that I ditched it. Regrettably.
I have just read the Computer Pilot review on the Track IR5 and it says that its default doesn't need to be changed with flight sim which has less tricky movements than the First Person shooter games might need. I get very muddled with the programming of it. Can anyone confirm that the Track IR5 is able to provide for Flight simmers NOT to have to reprogram it at all and can the CH EClipse YOKE easily have buttons for the centralizing, resetting and activating which the X52 obstinately failed to do. A helpful answer could well prompt me into buying the Track IR5 with a lot more confidence than the Track IR4 left me with.
Please help.
