Installer fails shortly after start

I have tried both installers and shortly after the start I get the following message:
Error extracting support files: The server threw an exception
after which the installer shuts down

Fixed:
Installed on another pc and transferred relavent files over.

Out of curiosity, what version of windows were you experiencing the error on?

On this machine I use Vista, Will have to try on my good laptop when it comes back from the factory (windows 7). I ran the installer on my old desktop/server which is still xp.

I also have troubles installing the TrackIR software (both versions 4 and 5 final) and just made a post in this
thread.
Can I also get a expanded installation? I'm sitting here with a 200 dollar hardware device which I cannot use ;-(

I Have received the installation files by email.
After a simple copy & paste and assigning the drivers and TrackIR was running.
No I only have to get used using TrackIR.
