We're using trackIR for a virtual reality experiment using X-Plane.
We'll want yaw to be tracked from -90 to 90 degrees so tracking from in front isn't really available for the full range.
We'd therefore need to map:
roll===>yaw
pitch==>pitch
yaw==>roll
Is there any canned way to switch/map axes to other axes?
Thanks in advance,
Moonman

Re: Tracking from above
Are you programming for your experiment?
What you describe should be possible using the TrackIR SDK.
It isn't a feature we were planning on, but i will mention the idea to our developers.
Currently we only offer the rotation options in your Tracking Window's settings to redefine which axis do what.
I hope this helps.
