How do I save a profile??

I am wondering how to save a setting that I use for FSX so I do not have to reset the speed and smoothness each time I log in.

Are you using TrackIR 4 or 5 software?
For TrackIR 5.xx
Open the advanced settings menu
Click on the copy button in the profiles bar, name the new profile "FSX"
Make the adjustments you want, then press the save button in the profiles bar.
Go to the titles tab, scroll down to FSX, and change the profile from default to fsx.
Now every time you load FSX it will automatically switch to this profile.

Hi, I need help saving profiles as well.
I have trackir 5 with 5.1 beta 3 drivers installed. My profiles dissapear after saving and exiting the program. I searched the forum and read from a previous post that I should install the software somewhere other that the program files folder. I tried that but no resolution. My profiles still dissapear once I exit the software.
Any help would be appreciated

What version of windows are you using? xp/vista/7 home/pro/ultimate 32/64?
What version of TrackIR software are you using?
