well I've been through a lot of the threads and I do see people talking about uninstalling the software but I'm at a total loss as to how I can do this. The 'Add/Remove programs' on my XP does not list the software and the user manual does not talk about 'How to uninstall TR2'.
Please anyone?

If the software does not appear in your listing for add/remove programs, then you should be able to simply delete the directory that the software is stored in and remove any applicable shortcuts.
