Hi Everyone at Naturalpoint! :)

Just wanted to drop you a line and thank you for such a fine piece of work with the New track IR 5! I know it's been out for abit, but I recently upgraded to a Track IR 5 unit with track Clip Pro, and the unit is oustanding! I can actually feel the difference in smoothness, and the unit coupled with the Track Clip Pro has given me better range and tracking without some of the jittering I had with the 4. Not saying the 4 had issues, but it had a slightly narrower FOV, and more care had to be taken to get settings just right, and make sure everything was aligned.

I am a Proud Member of the 148 Bulldogs VFW, and we fly alot. I also am an avid flight simmer of over 6 years, and am curerently building a full up F-16 Cockpit. Due to this units greater range and the fact that it stay dead locked in, I can confidently mout this unit in my pitwith ease, without having to worry so much about range.

I tested tghe unit thoroughly yesterday and actually willfully tried to get the unit to jitter or lose track, and could not. It really is THAT good. I set it to precision mode, and Track Clip Pro mode with 130 setting in the filtering. I use to have to fly with blinds shut with blackout blinds, and all lights off, but now I can fly with full Sun shining in the room, blinds up, and willfully place reflective objects directly in the cameras view and it doesn't even pick up on anything bu the Track Clip pro's IR LED's.

It tracks sooooo smooth, yet quick and precise. I loved my TIR 4 unit, but this unit coupled with the track Clip Pro is a new breed. I am also a computer hardware entusiast and have the very best hardware that money can buy, and am impressed with this TIR 5 unit. It takes alot to impress me, but this new addition to my Flight Simulator hardware inventory was a great buy, and a great value.

I know you guys see lots of complaints here, so thought I'd share something positive for a change. You have a very pleased customer. I know things have a failure rate as all electronics do, and sometimes issues crop up, but if that ever happens, you won't hear any complaints from me. I'd merely work with you guys to rectify the issue.

This is truly a great piece of hardware. It does exactly what is advertised, and I read the reviews by outside sources...they don't pull any punches. This unit was exactly what was described there, and I didn't fully appreciate the level of improvements until I plugged it in and flew with it.

Great Job to all those at NaturalPoint! This unit will actually improve my SA in combat, because i won't even have to think about it in flight which is why we buy these units. We no longer look around with our thumb on a hat! We move our head to look where we need to, and in combat situations we need precise sifght pictures, and locked in units that stay put because in the event you find yourself ina dogfight, you don't wanna look to you lift vector to pull in for a snapshot and find your view jumping all over the place. The same goes for Air to ground, when you launching a standoff weapon, or dropping a bomb and coming off target to your egress path kicking out chaff and flare, you need precise views. This also goes for the formations we fly. Everything we do is all about precision, and it takes precision skill, and precision hardware.

I will be flying and ATO Flight today on my new unit, and I'll be relying on it to fly engaged/support tactics commonly referred to as "Drag and Bag" on enemy aircraft possibly before and/or after a ground attack on a SCUD battlion. It is going to be a very high workload, fast paced mission, and fluyid situation because we won't know when or where the enemy bandits will be coming from, and we will be in A2G mode, so when I flip to A2A mastermode, I know I'll be able to see what I need to see quickly.

Thanks Again for such a fine product. Now, I gott head off and get my pit all setup...I have a date with an Israel F-16-I Sufa! :)
