Gaming in a separate window?

The games i'd like to play (mostly rpg's) fill the whole screen, leaving no place to view the mouse-bar and/or virtual keyboard. Can i put the games in a window ? Other options?

Yes, solving this problem would really help those of us who rely upon this system for complete interaction with the computer. I would love to see this problem solved

A number of game engines include the ability to run windowed as a command line option, inlcuding the Unreal, Lithtech, and Quake engines (which are in a large number of titles).
