Display on Win7 touch tablet

I have a tablet PC running Windows 7. Although I get Smartnav to run, the screen keeps blacking out during use. The rate of occurrence is 4-5 times per minute.I have not identified any link to an event and the rate is variable,

Please help. :(

The screen goes black?

Do your power settings include turning the screen off or a blank screensaver?
