Replacing Optritrack facial markers?

Is it possible to replace Optitrack facial markers with some kind of reflective paint or something else? has anyone tried?

The thing is that we are going to perform an experiment where more that 50 people are going to be face captured, so we are thinking on speeding up the process of placing markers, and also we are sure that the glue of our Optitrack facial markers will not be enough for all the people.

so any suggestions?

The hemispherical markers are probably the best bet for use in a project such as this. Additional adhesive can be applied to the backs of the markers to get you through more uses, but in all honesty you're probably going to have to use a few sets to get through 50 people.

I'm not certain that a retroreflective paint would work too well, as it would likely get rejected by the software due to size or shape filtering.

I would suggest using Spirit Gum. It's a glue used for attaching liquid latex to the face. It's very strong and really cheap. Just make sure you get the remover too.
