Hot Keys failing in game and then in TrackIR software

I play Aces High and recently it's developed an issue where I lose the ability to center and pause in game. I noticed that when I close the game out that the hotkeys don't work in the TiR software either. If I restart the software it work perfectly but, shortly after I get in game it fails again. This had been sporadic until i ran some windows updates. Now it is constant.

I uninstalled and then reinstalled all software and drivers for the TrackIR and no change.

Any ideas?

Does this happen with any other game?

Unfortunately I don't know. I don't play any others.

Do you have key trapping enabled in the profile? It should be available under advanced options.

I do have trapping enabled. I did discover that it has something to do with "Game Booster 3." There is a feature that will turn all "unnecessary" processes down to a lower priority. I have always turned TrackIR back to normal priority when I run it. I stopped messing with the priories and the problem has resolved itself. Unfortunately, it has also affected game performance.

Is there any way to flag a process as "necessary" in gamebooster?

Yes there is. I can pick and choose what gets turned off. Problem is that I don't know which process is causing this hiccup. I have the trackir set to stay on and at normal processor priority. There must be some other process that it's dependent on.

Process explorer shows it as a dependency of explorer.exe, with no further process dependencies.

It does use OpenGL, so if it's slowing down any video driver or OGL components, that could be it.
