Precision aiming in FPS with trackIR?

I'm a disabled gamer that has trouble with precise aiming in FPS games. Large mouse movements like turning around and looking up and down are no problem, but shooting enemies, especially at a distance, can be tough. I've been thinking about buying trackIR to help with aiming the crosshairs of weapons, but is it any good for this?

I'm interested in using it in fast-paced games like Unreal Tournament 2004 and Battlefield 1942. Has anybody used trackIR for this? Is it any good?

Is it possible to return the product if it doesn't work for me?

Thanks.

I am also a disabled gamer(have only the use of my right arm). I use a programmable joystick instead of the keyboard. I love FPS games which is the reason I got the TrackIR. I can now play games that REQUIRED 2 hands. The software has a "precesion" mode that allows finer movement for precise aiming. Its great to be able to look around as you walk thru the area. It does take getting used to, and experimenting, but it beats anything else I've tried.
