OptiHub - External Sync Input/Output Signal

(Sorry for the post in "OptiTrack General", but I think here it's more its place to be.)

Hello:
I would like to know 2 things about the OptiHub external synchronization:

- In the "OptiHub User Guide" I read it's possible to synchronize with a "External Sync Input Signal". But what kind of signal can I use? I would like to use an electrical signal, but what voltage should I use?

-And in a second time, what kind of output sync can I get? Do you think it's possible to have the same electrical signal than the input sync?(5V for example).

Thank you for your help.

The input should ideally be a square wave. The software can be set to trigger a frame either on the rising, falling, or both edges. If set to pass-through, the output will be the same as the signal.
