Default to pause mode
I use a SmartNav 3 unit on a shared PC. Not everyone who usess that machine want to use the SmartNav. It would be helpful if the software had an option to start in "pause" mode.

Re: Status LED in pause mode
When the LED turned green on its own, the cursor did not move with the dot. When I pressed the pause key to exit pause mode, only then did the cursor begin tracking the dot.

Status LED in pause mode
If I press the pause key, the SmartNave status LED turns red. But if I leave the SmartNav in pause mode for a while, the LED turns green again even though the SmartNav is still in pause mode. I am running the SmartNAV software version 3.20.008.

Re: New SmartNAV3 Announced!
<t>Plus standby mode works now! The new SmartNav is fully hot pluggable/unpluggable. The software can be minimized to the system tray. Also, hotkey mouse button emulation is now compatible with DOS boxes, and the hotkeys can support all three main mouse buttons at once (left, middle, right). There's...

Re: Standby mode
For anyone who is interested, I wrote software that works around the standby problem. SmartNav with a rotating display.
<t>I am interested in using a SmartNav mounted on a pivoting display in combination with Pivot Pro software. While it is possible to reposition the SmartNav each time that I rotate the display, it is quite annoying. Having a software option would be great. Even better would be for the SmartNav drive...

Standby mode
Is there any progress on supporting standby mode and hibernate mode?
The SmartNav causes the computer to freeze when exiting standby or hibernate mode.

Re: Freeze when unplugging SmartNav
That is correct. The system will not freeze if the software is not running.
