Head Movement Too Rapid in FS2004
I just installed TrackIR 3 and the version 4.0+ software with vector expansion enabled. I'm finding that the head movements are much too rapid to make this product useful. How do I slow things down enormously?

Re: Cannot Turn Far Right or Left
Can you please give me literal instructions on what steps to take after loading the FS2004 profile to achieve what you are describing?

Cannot Turn Far Right or Left
<t>I just purchased TrackIR2 for use with FS2004. When loading the FS2004 profile, I'm finding that I can only turn about half of the total possible view left or right. When I get to a certain point on the right the view freezes and then I'm looking at the ceiling spinning around.<br/> <br/> Two poi...

Re: FS2004 Motions Too Rapid
<t>Before I try out the profile you have linked to this thread for FS2004, can you explain in general what controls how far left or right you can turn within a frame of reference? <br/> <br/> I have developed a trick now where if I tilt my head left and turn I can turn all the way around, and if I t...

Re: FS2004 Motions Too Rapid
<t>I do have hyperthreading on. Setting Affinity to CPU 0 or CPU 1, I see now only one tracking window. But I still have an issue with the cursor "sticking" at the edges. <br/> <br/> What affects the degree of coverage right or left? I don't seem to be able to turn consistently past about a 45 degre...

Re: FS2004 Motions Too Rapid
<t>I'm using the dot on my forehead, not the track hat. <br/> <br/> I'm not sure how the Tracking tab on the configuration application is supposed to work. I see a black screen with a dot that follows me inside the TrackIR Configuration application. I see the same black screen in the top left corner...

Re: FS2004 Motions Too Rapid
<t>Your suggestion made motion smoother, but things still aren't working right.<br/> <br/> Now the motion onscreen is just freezing at certain points when I move my head in any direction. The light is still green on the TrackIR, so it isn't a problem seeing the point on my head.<br/> <br/> As a gene...

Re: FS2004 Motions Too Rapid
I upgraded to 3.01, then selected Dead Zone. How do I control how much dead zone there is? It's still not very usable at this setting, but slightly less worse.
3.01 is crashing a lot on my Windows 2000 machine running ATI RADEON 9.5 Pro.

FS2004 Motions Too Rapid
<t>I am using TrackIR version 1, which I just installed with the 2.11 software release. I tried to fly a Cessna 182 in the pattern, and I'm finding that the slightest movement of my head results in huge movement on screen. I went into the setup, selected Custom, and adjusted speed of X and Y to near...
