I removed trackIR, disabled Kaspersky IS and uninstalled Ghostwall, then loaded trackir fresh again. Still the same result- no software activation and no device lights.

I seem to have fixed it with your help. I noticed the Track IR process was running in task manager, but not in applications. Once closed, and with TrackIR located elsewhere (as per your suggestion) it all fired up nicely. Thanks for your patience and help with this!!

There is a default profile now showing. I installed it into a new folder (same drive). Now when I activate the oprogramme from the installed desktop shortcut, nothing happens except my security software asks permission for Track IR to contact the internet....
