Hi,
after reinstalling the latest software, my device is not detected anymore. I've re-installed, changed USB ports, gone thru power management etc to no avail.
My device serial no is 0xxxxx. My Setupapi looks like this:

Hello,1. Track IR4 , software version 4.1.0.36, was working OK on FS9.1 on an XP SP3 PC
2. Software then stopped opening when TrackIR initiated � although it appeared in Task Manager PROCESS as Track IR Exe running, it did not appear in Task manager Applications at all
3. The device showed no lights on it at all, and the USB hub light did not go on � ie as if the device not recognised at all.
4. I then removed Track IR software completely, and then re-installed a new copy downloaded from your site, also deleting the NaturalPoint folder from C: Program Files. I used Revo uninstaller to remove any trace of the software.
5. The re-installed new copy did not change the situation described as above.
6. I then uninstalled again, and placed a re-installed copy into a new folder within C;Programs to see if there was any effect. The situation remained the same.
7. I then moved the device from the USB hub to a direct connection on the PC � removing and reinstalling software too.
8. I also checked via Device Manager that the device appeared on there � it did as �NaturalPoint Devices � Track IR4� with no cross or anything showing it was disabled.
9. I checked the content of the Profiles folder and the default file size is 4Kb, with other profiles showing between 2 and 3 Kb
10. The Intall log in the TrackIR folder showed an error 183.......?
In summary, I have software that won�t open and a �dead� track IR unit.

Try unplugging the camera, then try starting the TrackIR software.

Hmmm, software won't fully load, even with hardware unplugged, and you have done a clean install.........
Any other applications running in the background (Firewall/antivirus/etc.)?

I removed trackIR, disabled Kaspersky IS and uninstalled Ghostwall, then loaded trackir fresh again. Still the same result- no software activation and no device lights.
