Re: multiple camera object mode data c++

Hi antithing, I'm happy to hear you're making progress. I think that retrieving the 2D information takes a couple of steps as there's some accounting for lens distortion. If you take a look at the VectorTracking sample that installs with the SDK, this should show you the process for receiving that i...

Re: Camera Identifier Problem

Hello Yan Zhang, After loading an old project, are you able to calibrate? Are you still able to calibrate in the previous version? The error messages you are seeing refers to the camera number displayed on the front of the camera. It must be changing during wanding, so calibration aborts. It sounds ...

Re: Axis of coordinates in skeleton streaming

Hello Mikko, If you are using Motive, the default behavior is for the global position and orientation to be reported for each bone. In the Data Streaming Pane, there is an option to stream the local coordinates. This would be done by setting "Local Rigid Bodies" to True. I hope this information help...

Re: doc "Trim Tails"

Hello rafaelsanchezsouza, The Trim Tails tool does not remove data such as what you show in your image. Tails are the beginnings and ends of curves, right around a gap. The 4 keys in your image are not a gap, but a jump in the curve. You can select those keys and hit the Delete key, on your keyboard...

Re: Focal Point of Camera

Hello manphib, You can select a marker and use the "Zoom to Fit Selection" and "Follow Selected" buttons at the top of the Perspective View. This will frame the selected marker and allow the view to follow it. The hotkeys for these are: Ctrl-E - Frame Selection Ctrl-F - Follow Selected Cheers, Steve...

Re: College Instructor, looking for some help with MOTIVE

Hey Apophis, 1. This is the guide for an older piece of software, but the picture at least shows you how we would position the cameras. The usual setup only consists of the upper row of cameras, usually mounted along the walls, but you could put the tripods in a circle if desired. http://www.optitra...

Re: College Instructor, looking for some help with MOTIVE

Hi Apophis775, With a 6 camera system, you would want to arrange the cameras around the perimeter of the capture area. You can probably start by placing one camera on each corner and the additional two cameras on opposite sides of the capture area. The Flex:v100 cameras have a range of up to 6 meter...

Re: Motive acquisition with remote command and control

Hi Benedetta, I believe I answered this question in your support ticket, but I am posting here as well. Your setup sounds correct except for the port numbers. Whatever the Command Port is set to, in Motive, UDP triggers will be received on the Command Port + 2. That means if you've changed the Comma...

Re: College Instructor, looking for some help with MOTIVE

Hello Apophis775, If you have already seen this quick start guide, I'm afraid there isn't much more documentation I can offer at this time. http://wiki.optitrack.com/index.php?title=Motive_Quick_Start_Guide In Motive, the Skeleton creation window should show you the marker positions once you select ...

Re: Motive acquisition with remote command and control

Hi Benedetta, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding this workflow you are trying to achieve. If the MATLAB PC is running windows, either the NatNet SDK or the UDP broadcast will be capable of updating the Take Name in Motive while triggering the recording. Using the NatNet SDK, you can issue .N...
