...it doesnt!
I just replaced my powersupply for a 250 super powerful PSU, and reinstalled my drivers etc.
now the light comes on for a second (whichever version of software i use) and then says "no data" (on newest version of software.
ive uninstalled and reinstalled various times...
taken all of my usb hardware out.
checked my Via drivers are up to date, still no luck.
also tried the track ir in various ports and hubs, no success.
any tips or ideas?
it seems to be ok in device manager, but it does not show that its using any power from the usb properties.

OrLock-
There is a known issue with one of the XP automatic updates (Hotfix Q814033) that causes many 3rd party USB input devices including ours to stop working. This might explain why the last clean install worked fine, and sadly, there is no obvious way for us to fix it as it is a Microsoft issue. If this problem re-occurs after doing an update, try the following:
- Go to Control Panels:Add or Remove Programs.
- Find Hotfix Q814033 and select it.
- Click the Remove button.
I hope this helps some of you.
