hi,
i just purchased a track-ir, and am in the process of setting it up.
my dot is placed on my headset mic , byt the mic is not exactly in the midline, it is slightly off to one side (about 2 cm from the midline)
is this a problem for callibratng to the neutral center point and creating the dead zone ?
in theory it shouldnt be afai can see, but i am havjng problems centering the mouse pointer.
my main use for the trackir will be in flightsims .
thanks
dot on "off center" headset mic, = problem ?

Hello:
What you want to do is check that the dot can be seen by the trackIR unit in the Tracking Window. Make sure it can track the dot through your range of motion, by having a green box around the yellow dot. Then, when you are centered, hit the Center Hotkey, F12. This will align the system. Should be good to go from there on.
