The Lock-On demo really does exist

Post by Halstead York »

For those that read these posts, I thought I would offer a bit of re-assurance to those who don't think the Lock-On demo exists:

IT DOES! I've done trackIR Enhanced tank-busting on the same computer that I'm posting this with. It looks and plays great. The A-10 in particular feels just spot-on- these are the best virtual cockpits I've ever seen.

Hi Halstead. Does the TrackIR work out of the box with the Lomac, and if so, can is this what we can expect with the full release game?

trackIR should work out of the box with LOMAC just fine- We're working with Ubi on a few little issues right now. As for a timetable, I certainly can't offer you anything more than Matt or Norman can. However, I'm quite confident that it'll make the Christmas season (and yes, I do mean this season).

Hahaha. Thanks for clarifying on the season!

This is good news. We have yet to hear much from UBI regarding TrackIR and LOMAC other than a few quiet whispers that it will be supported.

But hearing this from you is very reassuring.

Thanks for the info.
