Hi everyone.
Finally i've got the TIR2 and i'm very satisfied with operation and performance. Have however found an annoying little thing after install. My printer (USB) has slowed to a crawl in printout! From 20 pages/min down to 4!!!.
Right, my specs.
P4 2.4 400 FSB
1024 RDRAM 800
Intel chipset
Radeon 9700 Pro 128
CAT 4.2
XP Pro latest updates complete
DX 9 b
latest TIR Software installed.
A NEC USB 2.0 Card installed with 5 additional ports, where the printer, X45, MS GameVoice and CH Pro Pedals are connected.
In the PC ports are Logitech Wireless keyboard+Mouse and TIR2 + a Smartcard reader.
Any input on this one ??

Your issue sounds very odd.
So lets have a look at what may be causing the problem, if you would try a few things out for me.
1) Can you confirm that you are logged in as the administrator?
2) What happens when the rest of the USB devices are disconnected, and just leave the TrackIR and printer connected?
3) When the other devices are disconnected what happens if you change the printer to different ports, does this make a difference?
4) Do you have the latest drivers available for you printer? Most printers come with both USB and printer port connections, have you tried it through a standard printer port?
5) What happens if you remove the USB pci card, does the problem still remain?

Hi, thanks for the reply.
It seems as i've got it in order again. I've deinstalled the printer drivers and software. Then cleaned the registry from it and reinstalled it again. That seems to have taken care of my printer difficulties. Somehow it got corrupted and i don't think that the TIR got anything to do with it. It just happened to coinside unfortunately.

When I had an Epson Printer, cant remember the model now but it was one of the Photo Stylus ones, everytime I turned on the TrackIR with it on also, the whole system froze.
I tested every aspect of this and just came to the conclusion that they could not be on at the same time.
Now I have an HP and there are no issues at all.
