OK, OK The principal problem is the jitter.Apart from that this is a very good hardware.
I�d like the trackir to be as smooth as my mouse, Is there anybody who see that they are both the same smooth?(forgive my bad english).
Are you going to release soon new drivers that improve the algorythm of smoothing? Please, please

It's the hardware that's not fast enough. No amount of re-writing the software will change anything. Try a TIR3 pro.

My TrackIR2 was smooth.

I would investigate possible issues regarding the 'jitter' and not just assume it is a hardware limitation.

For example ?. HEEELP,Wayne, First of all, now I understand what is jittering (it happens even when the cursor stops) and what�s stuttering . I think My problem is stutter (I don`t need profiles.Ive tried many of them)
I've upgraded to 3.10 drivers and I've noticed a little increase in smooth (almost in lomac ) . But movement seems to say that the NP software or drivers eat more resources than my usb optical mouse. There are too many micro stutters inside the game. May be one of my components (sound card, mobo,etc) is the guilty?
When I look at the sky or instruments cockpit in the three principal games that use this device (Lomac,FB,FS9 ) , the movement hasn�t the same resolution as the mouse but is smooth and o.k, but looking at the clouds or the scenery is too stuttering or jerky, like i was back to my "old" amd 1,3 Ghz 512 Mb RAM.
In others ways, the new drivers i'll make only one or two remarks about them
Now, the cursor stays very hold when stop my head, and moves horizontal and vertically correctly but when i move my head diagonally the move makes "a stair". I wonder if someone/everybody have experimented this annoying effect .
note: Before upgrading drivers, if you don�t first uninstall manually the NP driver where you have plugged The TIR2 in the past in all your usb ports, windows won�t be able to eliminate some entrys in registry.

Do you have the textures turned up very high in your games?

You might want to check what settings your video card is set to.

If the mouse option is not working then this indicates a problem with the game. At this stage I would most likely re-install the game and confirm that the problem is not there.

If you are using the hat ensure that you have TrackHat checked on the tracking page.

If you are still having problems with the stutter, if you e-mail me I will send you a profile which should help, just tell me which games.

First of all, I forgot to tell something strange. After installing TRI2 , in lomac,if I start the game without trackir2 software, Althought I check the mouse cockpit on, it doesn�t work .It is no longer available with or without TRIR2.
Well , I have a Radeon 9800 pro and last saturday I upgraded to an amd xp 3200 (200 FSB)I was wasting my mobo ABit nf-7s and the modules memories. I optimized windows xp (no backup,no index,no update,without visual effects,etc,etc, claen start ) . have trackir hat too.
It�s supossed i can I have a high or very high textures setup in this games. If I play with this setups with the mouse , the view is smooth and without jerkyness or stutters.(Are they same things?I have to improve my "english for gamers")
I only complain about that jerkyness or stutter or whatever it is. the example videos I downloaded are smoother. Help me please
