TrackIR 2 and New drivers

Is posible that the newest drivers not work with TrackIR2?

No. The newest drivers will not work on the TrackIR 2 series.

Then how come my TrackIR2 is recognized in the new drivers, and the dot is tracked and the heads are moving? I don't get it.

Can�t find the old thread where we asked for TrackIR2 support in the new drivers. All we hear it is "impossible" to make it work due to Hardware reasons. Was this thread deleted ?

Since the Dot works and my TrackIR2 works like a charm in FS9 i am not going to buy a new TrackIR only for FSX

Come one, Naturalpoint. There must be a solution ! Since the old TrackIRs aren�t sold anymore, you should have no problem implementing the Version2 in the drivers for FSX...

Thank you for your concerns and feedback regarding the compatibility of the TrackIR 2 with the recent alpha release. The software is not compatible with TrackIR 2 and we apologize for any misunderstanding which may have led you to believe otherwise. The support you observed was not fully functional.

FS X required special development work to support the TrackIR, since the TrackIR 3.13 software is no longer under active development this means that FS X support will not be available in the TrackIR 3.13 software.

To eliminate the possibility of further confusion, we have closed the previous thread as we feel that further discussion on the topic will not be constructive.
