Enchanced mode, glowing blue
Enchanced mode, glowing blue
Hello!
I've purchased TrackIR3 Pro few days ago and read somewhere on your site the following:
"2.How to confirm that you are in enhanced mode in the game...
To get into enhanced mode you press the F8 key until the case on the TrackIR glows blue. If it is blue, then youre in enhanced mode."
Playing LockOn (1.02) I pressed F8 to activate enchanced mode, looks like it works fine, but nothing glows blue. Is it normal or I'm doing something wrong?

For LOCK ON,IL2FB are Pacific Fighter is very simple !
You start NaturalPoint software in motion section you select TrackIR Enhanced then you start the game !
In game just press the HOT KEY for centering and have fun !
P.S. Default HOTKEY for center is F12 !

Ckoi, thanks for your reply. But how do I know in game if my TrackIR in enchanced mode or not? Now the only option I have is to try to move my mouse.

Re: Enchanced mode, glowing blue
I have the same thing happening. I do get it in enhanced mode (absolute coordinating), but the unit doesn't glow the blueish color I read about everywhere. On the bottom of the main circuitboard, right above the pedestal, there is a little white component which could be the LED... Is it? In any case, what the question is to NP: should there be a glow or no?
thanks,

Hello:
There should be a blue glow in Enhanced Mode. The little white thing on the bottom of the PCB is the Blue LED, you are correct. We have seen where the blue LED is not working, because it may have gone bad for some reason or another, this could be the case. It doesn't effect the functionality of the unit at all, but if you would like it replaced we would be happy to do so, just give us a call at 888-865-5535.

Hi Jim,
Called my supplier here in Holland today (rightthing.nl). The guy was pretty easy going about it, and was more than happy to replace it.
thanks,
Eric
