Hi,
I am using the English version of the latest beta TrackIR3 Pro software.
Works great in Pacific Fighters. Doesn't work at all in MS FS2004 (latest patch). The blue LED light inside the case doesn't even come on, but the green one does.
I load the TIR software and there is an Auto-Load Profile entry for "Flight Simulator 2004" set to "Flight". Do I also need to check "Exclusive Load" for the Flight entry in the "Available Profiles" section? I leave the software running in the Windows 2000 Pro taskbar.
I was also told to "remove the red text lettering that appears in FS2004" but not how to do this and where I may download the necessary utility. I have no idea what it means.
I guess if the blue LED light doesn't come on, it makes no sense to even continue and try and remember how to switch to the Virtual Cockpit, right?
TIR3 Pro won't work with MS FS2004
Re: TIR3 Pro won't work with MS FS2004
Nevermind! I thought the blue light had to come on to verify that it works in a game. I started a flight and pressed "s" to go into virtual mode and TIR kicked in. But, it sticks. It only works in certain directions (only tried it sitting on the runway). I can look up, and left (?), but not right, etc...

Re: TIR3 Pro won't work with MS FS2004
Well, I guess disregard my post and replies again!
Being a new user, I have discovered that I have to press F-12 to center the device every time I use it! Why is that?
MS FS2004 is a blast with TIR (need to tweak it if I can)! I just did a flight over my home base and it was awesome looking around the Gallatin and Absorokee mountain range on the way through Paradise Valley on route to Yellowstone!
Never made it to YNP as my wife just came in and reminded me we have to get up at the crack of dawn!
This is the greatest product to come about for the PC in years!
