Emulating The Mouse

Post by Travis »

Hey, how do I get the TrackIR 3 to emulate the mouse outside of games (or even inside)?

I'm using 4.0.020 drivers.

To get TIR3 to use mouse emulation you will have to use an older driver 3.xx.

NP removed it as people were confusing TIR's operation with TIR's Navive mode as there is a difference in quality of the movement in game.

The older drivers mouse mode will work in mouse driven games but no where as smooth as native mode where games have been specifically designed to use TIR.

There are 3rd party (not supported) applications that will do the emulation but I am not sure of their names.

Travis just install the v3 softwear along with the v4 softwear as they can both be installed at the same time. Then all you need to do to use the mouse is use the v3 softwear for that and the v4 softwear for proper Track IR enhanced stuff.

The only thing you cant do is run both versions at the same time.

Barred, I don't think Travis' comment was aimed at you. Your explanations sure ain't "lame", but NP's (lackof) explanations sure IS.

For the foreseeable have a lot of time on my hands, so I scan some forums fairly regularly during the day, and if I can help anybody I will. I am just a user who has had problems and found a few workarounds and do not mind passing on anything I have learned, to save someone else the same head banging I had.

Peace All
