Now with track ir i am losing sound

I have never had this problem until today when I got my track ir. Flying in Pacific Fighters the sound dulls like it would when you look to the back of the cockpit but it never come back to the front. What can I do to fix this? I have a Soundblaster Live! value sound card with up to date drivers.
