Easy question...I hope.

So I really want to get TrackIR but there's something I need to know first. Believe me I've scoured the site & can't find the answer so here it goes. It's a two parter;

1. Is there an effective range limit for the IR camera to your head?

2. Is there vertical angle limit to the position your head can be compared to the camera?

I ask because I don't play pc games sitting at a desk. Rather my pc is hooked up to my hdtv and I'm on the couch about 10~12ft away from where I'd like to put the camera. Also my head wouldn't be perpendicular to it either but about 15~20 degrees below.

Reynard, the optimum range for the TIR3/3Pro is about 3 feet and the best angle is about 10 degreees. So I am afraid that you would be out of scaner range.
