idea : Multiple profile for a game

Post by PB0_FabinovX »

Hello, i've just tried my new TrackIr v3 Pro, and i would like to make a proposal.
i use to play Pacific fighters and full 3D with vector expension is not supported.
so when you play you have the choice with several FOV views but in general you play in large view and switch sometimes to a zoomed view.
I would like to know if you will implement the possiblity of assigning a hotkey for each game profile in order to switch from a profile to another using a hotkey (mapped on joy for example)?
in effect when you get a good response in large view, if you zoom, the response is too sensitive to give comfort and precision when shooting (for example).
the possibility there is to change the precision is not helpfull in that case because you can't switch between two or more response curves easilly.
implementing a hotkey for each profile will allow to have a Pacific Fighter large view profile with its own response curves on each axis and a Pacific Fighters zoomed view profile with more progressive response curves.
then playing game if you map your joy using the 2 hotkeys (as many as profiles) on the same keys you change your FOV in game, the profile and response curves will change selecting view mode in game.

i hope you'll find this idea interesting and i apology for my poor english .

TrackIR is really a great tool, i'm just beginnig to use it but i already enjoy it [Big Grin]

PB0_FabinovX,

Thank you for posting your idea's. I will make a note, and I agree this would be a welcome feature.

Without looking in more detail I am not too sure how easy this would be to achieve, but certainly something that I will bring up.

Good idea.

Yeah cool, i hope you'll find an easy solution.

well, if it is not easy to have several profiles for a same game, a more simple way is maybe creating different SETs (of curves) with a Hotkey for each under each game profile.
Each set created has its own response curves and all have the same common options as such as center view and on/off hotkey.

well that's an idea, but unfortunatly i'm a newby with programming
