I just got the package.
I installed the software, plugged in the TrackIR, and nothing.
No blurb about a new device detected, the software doesn't see anything either

Connect the device but nothing happens
Re: Connect the device but nothing happens
Bizarre... I knew it was getting power because the device was getting warm but it wouldn't be recognized by Windows.
I'd rebooted at several points, disconnected it, tried it on a second computer, disconnected everything but the keyboard and tried it... nothing. So I reconnect everything, reboot, and it works.
I'm seriously confused, but happy

Re: Connect the device but nothing happens
Jakub,
I had the same problem. I installed the software, then connected the device and had no new hardware found. I use windows xp. I unplugged the track ir, restarted the machine, plugged the unit back in and nothing. I then email support but had the fix before their reply (stl waiting btw LOL) leave the track IR plugged in restart the PC and it shoudl recognize it. It did mine and now I can start working on creating a profile.
Hope this helps you.

The other thing you can try is plugging it into a different port on your PC. I really would not recomend using it on a HUB though, even if it means swapping a few devices (like mouse and keyboard).
