TrackIR 3Prop includes 3 dot hat ?

Hi,

I wonder if TrackIR 3 Por includes Vector Expansion and the 3 dot hat as seen in the videos.

If not, what is the difference between TrackIR3 and TIR3 Pro ??

Hi Nautilv,
There might be a bundle of the TIR and the Vector (Depends on retailers I think). The 3 dots is the Vector in use wether for 2DOF or 6DOF (depending on the game).

The main difference between the TIR3 and the TIR3Pro is their scanning speeds, with the Pro being the faster. The faster the scan the more accurate the head translation from your head into the game. If you are thinking about getting the Vector I would really recomend getting the Pro.

Even if your game/sim does not fully support 6DOF the Vector would still improve your accuratcy of translation into your game because the TIR scaner is sending just the data needed for the direction of your head. Otherwise there is a bit more filtering needed to work out your movement so that the game sees what you are doing.

Which ever you do decide to go with enjoy it really does make a difference.

TrackIR3 Pro would be a better choice then. I hope the IL2 gets the Vector support some time soon (Aces High already does).

Unless there is a big turnaround I cannot see it happening either unfortunatly. My hopes are that it will be in Battle of Britain though.
