New user here too! The guys I fly Pacific Fighters all use the 3.12 or the 3.13 drivers. On the strength of their reccommends I uninstalled the .024 and installed the 3.13.

I am much much happier with the 3.13. Centering snaps back like it should and if I want to I can make tiny adjustments to center and they take.

Mileage may very but I'd give it a try.
My best,

Thanks for the reply. I went and backdated the S/W to the 3.1 rev and it works as advertised. I do miss some of the features of the newer rev, but it works, so im gonna leave it alone till they fix whatever bug it is that the v4 rev has.

Duplicated effort - oh well, at least you got it working.

Thanks for the reply GregP. I did infact, read your post and saw that you had returned to the 3.13 version also. I have only had mine since Friday last, but my buds on PF were telling me about this problem also. I am remiss for not giving the link to your post in this post. As you said we all have it sorted.

Personally I don't see all that much advantage to the 4.0 software. I'm thinking it is more aimed at the guys that have the Vector add-on. In truth I didn't care for the "Heads" anyway and the motion and tracking panels are pretty much the same in both softwares. Here's hoping that they rapidly solve the problem and we can all install the 4.0.0XX and get on with the show!
Thanks!

Agreed, Decon. My conclusion, like yours, was that apparently the Version 4 software's only advantage is that it allows the Vector Expansion to work. As I don't have VE (yet?), this doesn't bother me too much but I really hope, especially with the growing number of users who are experiencing this problem, that it gets sorted out soon. As can be seen in my thread, Wayne from NP now knows about it, so that's a start at least.

Hey guys,
I posted in that last thread also, and taking
off enhanced mode (F9 key I think) get's rid of it.
But I honestly think it should work without having to do this, or more extremely, install a prior driver version.

Hmm, I didn't try turning off enhanced mode, as I always turn that functionality off in my profiles. That might work - but then you're stuck with the generally less ideal mouse emulation mode, right? If that's the case, I think I'd rather stick with the earlier software where I can use the enhanced mode.

This thread is a duplicate topic of another thread.

We have posted a fix for this in a new version of the software.

I am locking this thread, please visit the following thread for details and further discussion.
