FS 2204 & spot plane view

Hi,
I can't figure out how to take advantage of TIR enhanced in FS2004 spot plane view.
Maybe it's not possible or do I miss something?

My understanding is it only works in the virtual cockpit.

I've installed the FS2004 but the Trackir dosn't work (tried also in virtual cockpit).
I've also IL2 sturmovick but in this game work. How a can solve the problem?

P4 2.8
1 giga ram
