Hi gents, I'm back, this time with TIR3 Pro, Vector Exp and a brand new copy of Falcon 4 Allied Force. I'd appreciate a little guidance on the following:
- TIR installation instructions always emphasize the need to uninstall previous versions of the software and to unplug the hardware as part of a specific sequence. Dire warnings accompany falure to observe this sequence. Can anyone tell me what the sequence should be when uninstalling TIR1 software, connecting TIR 3 + VE and then installing the TIR 3 software? Please respond only if you know for sure!
- I believe there is a built-in profile for F4AF. That would eliminate a big headache since TIR 1 days. Is this true?
Many thanks guys.
Uninstalling TIR1 before TIR 3 install
Re: Uninstalling TIR1 before TIR 3 install
Here you go for the safest way of upgrading from TIR1 to TIR3.
Download the latest driver.
Unplug the TIR 1
Goto Control Panel/add/remove programs
Look for NaturalPoint or TIR*
Remove
Goto C:/Program Files/NaturalPoint and delete the NaturalPoint Folder
Reboot
Load the driver you down loaded and follow the onscreen instructions.
That should give you the cleanest upgrade with the least hastle.

That's great, many thanks.
Is the disconnection/connection of the hardware a necessary part of this sequence?
