Lock On Problem

I installed TIR3 Pro a couple of days ago. I've installed the latest beta version(4.1.026). I can't seem to communicate with the tower anymore when I press "\" key nothing happens. Also, when I press "F2" for an external view nothing happens. When I turn off TIR3 and then start the game everything works fine. How can I fix this problem?

What happens if you roll back to the 4.1.025 version of the TrackIR software? Does the problem go away?

Knowing the answer to this will help narrow things down.

I will give that a try. I tried unpluging my steering wheel to see if that would help. It didn't. I have obserevd that the problem does not occur when I first start Lock On. It usually occurs after I have crashed and either reloaded the mission or pressed RCVR, or escaped and loaded a different mission.

I assume that I have to remove .026 before I reinstall .025. Can I save my profiles?

On Monday evening I tried playing on line with 026 still installed. At first TarckIR wouldn't run at all. Then for some reason when a second mission was loaded and it worked just fine.

So, last night I installed 025 after removing 026. IR seemed to work perfectly. I didn't try the game online, so there is no comparison for online play.

I need to mention that I am actually running Lock On 1.1 aka Falming Cliffs. Its the CD version purchased fron Natural Point.

I can live without 026, but can I use TrackIR with NASCAR 2003 or GTR?

I still think there is a bug somewhere.

I will see if the profiles work myself. Although I dont see why .26 isnt working on your system either.. hmm... I will test the profiles on 25.

Shoe yes you can use TIR in GTR and now NASCAR Season 3. For Nascar you will need to have it fully patched and running .26 for it to work, which it does brilliantly.

Hi everybody !
I just received this morning in Switzerland my new TrackIR 3 Pro (serial No 34562) and try to install it. No problem with the software (4.1.026 downloaded form your site). But I have problem with the hardware installation. I'm running XP Home Edition and the USB device is recognized as NaturalPoint TrackIR 3, but the problem occurs during the drivers installation. It seems to run well but at the end, instead of the normal 'end of installation' message, the PC reboot. Looking at the installog, I found the following message :
