cannot pan to left properly

Hi

I can move my head to the right ok with great fluidity but the left just stiks how do i solve this. It buggs the hell out that I cannot pan to left properly.

Issues like this occur more frequently when you are not at the proper distance away from the device or if you are not centered correctly in the "Tracking" window within the TrackIR software.

er ok what is the proper distance
and why do have to keep my head totally centred?

Also is there a way to speed up the zoom when u move your head forward
